Warranty/Crash Replacement/Return Policy
- All Zen Cyclery wheels are built by professional wheel builders to our exacting standards of precision and quality. We guarantee our work against defects caused by labor or assembly for a period of two years from the date of purchase. The components themselves may also be covered by any applicable warranty from the original manufacturer. Zen Cyclery is so confident in its products that we offer an additional warranty against spoke fatigue for Sapim Cxrays or failure to the original purchaser for two years. We offer a one year warrenty on Pillar spokes. Of course, this warranty is limited to our work and does not include fatigue or failure related to mishaps, neglect, accidents, modifications or maintenance not performed by Zen Cyclery.
- Occasionally, wheels will be damaged for a variety of reasons, including mishaps, neglect, accidents or neglected maintenance. If your wheels are ever damaged, we offer a no fault crash replacement program. Just insure and ship the wheel to us at your cost with a written description of the damage and personal contact information. Our “Wheel Reincarnation Program,” consists of a thorough evaluation and estimate of the cost of repair. Actual component costs to effect the repair of the wheel, or the complete replacement thereof, is offered to our customers at cost plus 15%. If the wheel cannot be repaired or you decide not to repair the wheel, we can ship your wheel back to you at your cost or you can choose to donate any recyclable components to a local non-profit cycling related group. We will facilitate this process and e-mail you a receipt reflecting your donation.
- Because all Zen Cyclery wheels are built to order we only accept returns that are warranted by a defect in the build.
